Your Consultation
Your first appointment will be a private consultation, and at that time, we will help you make the best decision for your unique medical situation. An experienced medical professional who will learn about your medical history, and describe the various options for care available.The vascular surgeon or interventional radiologist will meet with you and examine your areas of concern. The surgeon will review your history, talk with you and answer any questions you may have. He will recommend the appropriate treatment, and describe benefits and risks as well as what outcome you can expect in your particular case. He may order an additional non-invasive diagnostic exam, such as an ultrasound, to ensure accurate diagnosis. Our staff will assist you in scheduling any additional appointments.
When you are satisfied that all of your questions have been answered, our staff will schedule a convenient time for any diagnostic testing and a follow up appointment. If no further tests are required, and you are satisfied with the treatment plan, we will make all the arrangements for you.
The fee for the consultation may be covered by insurance. Also, many procedures performed for symptomatic vein problems may be covered by insurance; however, fees for cosmetic sclerotherapy may not be covered by insurance.
